Responding to the message about Jesus

When people heard the full story of Jesus, they were shocked and horrified. The Messiah, the Christ, had been crucified. Yet God raised Him back to life!

How could this have happened?

Could they really believe this?

Yet the coming of the Holy Spirit in a visible way sent a signal of great importance. The change in the apostles was very noticeable — these once fearful people were suddenly very bold and courageous. Even more importantly, something about this whole story of Jesus resonated deep in their hearts and they knew it had to be true!

But what were they supposed to do?
